Meet the Elders

Bob and Kathy Shepp

Bob and Kathy Shepp serve as elders of
IMPACT Christian Center (ICC). They both have a passion to see God’s Kingdom advance “on earth as it is in Heaven.” Together they serve on the worship team and prophetic prayer team.

Bob’s life scripture is 1 Peter 4:10; “Each of you has been blessed with one of God's many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well.” Bob enjoys serving God by enhancing the worship experience through his gift of computer and video technology.

Kathy has served IMPACT Christian Center on the Board of Elders since the ministry started in 1997 and is currently Treasurer. Her life scripture is Luke 7:47; “Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—for she loved much. But he who has been forgiven little loves little." She has a passion to see people experience lasting emotional freedom and is the director of Mercy Seat Ministries, ICC's prayer counseling center.

Bob and Kathy live in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania along with her son Isaiah. Her oldest son Adam and her daughter-in-law Ashley live locally and enjoy serving and worshipping along with the rest of the ICC family. Bob’s son Cody currently attends a local college.

Richard and Janet Slesser

Richard and Janet Slesser are founding Elders of IMPACT Christian Center. Richard is one of ICC’s sound technicians and both he and Janet oversee the Community Action Team which serves free breakfast to the community of Columbia on a quarterly basis.

Janet is the church secretary, active in the nursery and worship team. Together they serve on one of ICC’s prophetic prayer teams and pre-service prayer teams.

They have three adult children; Steve, Terri, and Keith. Their seven grandchildren are a great source of delight to them both.

Kevin and Mary Miller

Kevin and Mary are founding members of IMPACT Christian Center. They are both known for their generosity and compassion for others.

Kevin serves as a founding elder, chief sound technician and leads prayer meetings. Along with his wife Mary they, oversee the Helps Ministry, oversee Building Maintenence, serve on the Community Action Team and serve on one of the prophetic prayer teams. Kevin has a passion to minister the Father’s heart to the lost and downtrodden.

With a strong call to intercession, Mary is a member of the Prophetic Intercessory Prayer Team and oversees the Usher Ministry. Mary has a heart to serve the natural and spiritual needs of the community.

They have two children; Brian, who is married and has two children, and Joy, who attends college and serves with her parents at ICC.
